Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress from America. Her work has earned her recognition for her TV and film performances since the early 1980s. Her awards are two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett born in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt following her birth in New York New York, is an acclaimed actor.
